We are delighted to announce that based on a newly concluded contract for work, BLOCK CRS a.s. will implement a partial part of a major project in the field of healthcare - the newly built Motol Oncology Centre. This prestigious project, whose investor is University Hospital in Motol and whose general contractor is GEMO a.s., represents a major step in the development of a modern oncology treatment facility.

Our company will implement the construction of clean rooms in the Motol Oncology Centre at the end of this year:

• on the 1st floor - 3 operating theaters and facilities
• on the 4th and 5th floor - cytostatics preparation, gene therapy, sterile products preparation, anti-infectives preparation

The Motol Oncology Centre will offer modern facilities and a wide range of services that will contribute to a major enhancement of oncological care in the Czech Republic:

• The Centre will be organized in connection with University Hospital Motol and will focus on providing comprehensive oncological care, including prevention, diagnostics and oncological, radiotherapeutic and surgical treatment.
• The increase in the number of beds will also contribute to improving the availability of oncological care throughout the Czech Republic and to enhancing and improving the collaboration of experts within multidisciplinary teams.
• The main focus of oncology treatment are day clinics, which are directly linked to the production of medicines.
• Furthermore, the facility includes a large number of outpatient clinics, two inpatient units, a day surgery department and an endoscopy centre.
